ITT ICS RoHS and DFARS Compliance

In February of 2003, the European Union released the RoHS and WEEE Directives (Restriction of Hazardous Substances / Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment), often referred to as the Lead-Free directives. ITT Interconnect Solutions products comply with the requirements of the RoHS directive on hazardous substances either directly by utilizing RoHS compliant materials and finishes or through specification controlled products which offer an RoHS compliant alternative.

As part of our efforts to provide the most current and accurate information on all Interconnect Solutions products, we ask that you inquire for RoHS status by part number in the “Part Number” field located on our home page. This inquiry will specifically identify the RoHS status, amongst additional specification information, for your specified product.

With regard to DFARS Specialty Metals Restrictions, electrical and fiber-optic connectors manufactured by ITT Corporation, Interconnect Solutions Division, fall under the exception
for electronic components under 252.225-7009(c).
