Even with the wide range of configurations, ITT recognized a gap between the 7- and 37- position connectors. The solution to closing this distance in contacts is the recently developed APD 19-way connector, which utilizes patent-pending technology related to the locking feature. As the name indicated, this version features 19 contacts, with the option of increasing the number to 27 upon request. For example, if customers require more contacts, smaller contact sizes can be implemented. Conversely, if a customer requires a connector capable of carrying a bigger load, the pin count can be reduced by using higher power contacts up to 50mm2 and AWG0.
|
APD 37-way is a highly reliable, cost effective multi-pin connector with signal contacts (multi-layout power / signal on demand). It offers wire to wire and wire to board connection solutions.
