Combo-D with HEP Contacts
The Combo-D with High Efficiency Power (HEP) Contacts features canted coil spring technology that increases electrical current carrying capacity, improves efficiency and reduces costs. Designed in one of the smallest packages available, our HEP contacts use cutting edge technology to increase electrical current capacity up to 75% over standard size 8 contacts. From missiles and ordnance to shipboard radar and satellite systems, the Combo-D with HEP Contacts is highly engineered for use in a number of Aerospace & Defense applications.
- Innovative canted coil spring technology increases the 40A electrical current rating in a standard size 8 contact to a range of 65A to 70A, representing up to a 75% increase
- Lower mating force enables easy, quick and convenient component connection and disconnection
- Available in crimp, solder, PCB (straight, right angle) terminations
- HEP Contacts can be used in any Cannon brand Combo-D connector
