At SIFER 2019, ITT will preview its MOVE Modular Series, a unique, modular circular connector series that utilizes a series of snap-in modules to deliver a variety of contact layouts that enable the transfer of power, signal and data in the same connector.
In addition, ITT will display several other globally recognized products including:
- ITT Veam VBN Connector Series – The VBN Connector Series is a proven harsh environment solution used throughout France's regional express trains. VBN has SNCF approval and is qualified to the French standard NF F 61-030. In addition to its extreme reliability and safety, its contact system enables easy insertion and removal of contacts for faster assembly and more efficient maintenance.
- ITT Veam CIR M12 Connectors – With the ability to transfer data from Ethernet, WTB and MVB in a single connector, this series meets today's increasing data transmission requirements, supporting an industry-leading 10 Gigabit-per-second Ethernet (up to Class FA ISO/IEC 11801 channel performance). The CIR M12 has a minimized circular footprint and is fully compliant with the latest rail standards for fire and smoke. Developed specifically for rail vehicle-to-vehicle interconnection, CIR M12 connectors deliver optimal sealing in addition to extreme shock and vibration resistance in the harshest rail car environments.
- ITT Veam Power Plate – The compact design of this fully customizable multi-pole high power interconnection system is ideal for applications where a minimized footprint is required, such as connection of the railcar to bogies, traction motors and converters. With an operating voltage up to 1200 V, Power Plate meets the latest smoke and fire rail standards. It delivers salt spray resistance of up to 500 hours with conductive plating and 1000 hours with non-conductive plating.
