Rock-in-Lock (RIL) Latching Connector

Application / Market:

Rock-in-LockTM (RIL) is a small receptacle connector about the size of a flash drive that can be worn on a soldier or first responder’s helmet, or attached to field-use computer tablets and communication units. It is low profile, lightweight and capable of transferring a significant amount of power and data that is needed to operate a number of devices, from augmented reality goggles to tactical combat radios. RIL’s advanced design and quick connect mechanism offer performance, reliability and time savings. A single-hand connector, RIL allows the user to blindly install the mating interface, without the need for a special mechanism like a thumbscrew, latch or coupling tool.
